"I love knowing that I am meditating any time with others who are participating intentionally, knowing that I am there too. I did place an ad in the classified section of the local paper. Those who responded tell me that they saw it there and appreciated it. These are folks that I wouldn’t have been in touch with in other ways. All are so happy to feel that we can make a difference. It’s not us. Really it's US, the Divine Self and the conscious self-recognizing it consciously."

The Summer Feast for the Soul, June 21st to 27th, is a 7-Day worldwide spiritual practice period for people of all faiths and traditions. As people around the globe dedicate themselves to seven days of stillness, lending their support for building a global consciousness of Peace, we will focus on this year’s theme: The Wisdom of the Heart to guide our meditations. We have several different teachers offering meditations this year which we believe will touch us all in profound ways. To kick off Summer Feast, with the observance of Opening Ceremonies on June 20th, Mary Chubb will present a reading of The Heart Sutra, and give us a Loving Kindness Meditation. The week will unfold with daily offerings to include Phil Jones’s Insight Meditation, Rinpoche Anam Thubten’s meditations from the Tibetan Buddhist tradition, Valerie Skonie, our Founder, will be offering a Heart Centered Meditation daily during Summer Feast, and we wish to welcome David Crowe who will lead a series of meditations based on the integration of classical Buddhist Vipassana (Insight) meditation and contemplative practices derived from principles of Ayurvedic medicine, which lead to an immediate and direct perception and understanding of our biological unity and kinship with all living things. A Complete Schedule Will Be Posted by June 17th View the full decription by clicking the above link. audio quick link

On Sunday morning he gave a 20 minute sermon at the Light on the Mountains Spiritual Center titled: "You Were Born for a Time Such As This". This was followed by a three hour workshop tItled "Distinguishing Authentic Guidance from Ego's Fantasies". David Less is a spiritual teacher with students and friends scattered throughout the world and offers teachings in Universal Meditation , a form of guided meditation that is easily accessible and successfully practiced by many people in different countries. He travels extensively and continually, teaching meditation, peace building, inter-spiritual harmony and inner practice. David has had the good fortune to study with real teachers of many different traditions and therefore his teaching is not limited by form and concept and yet still retains the inheritance of previous lineages. Beginning to travel the spiritual path forty years ago, he says he is beginning to get the hang of it. David is also involved in the difficult task of bringing peace to the holy land by promoting the use of religion as a force for peace. He is founding member of the Abrahamic Reunion, a group of spiritual peacemakers from the four central faiths of the holy land. He is currently the head of the Universal Worship founded in Paris in 1920. The Universal Worship is an interfaith organization which offers worship of all the religions and scriptures of the world simultaneously on the same altar.
