You can begin now to prepare yourself for our next 40-day practice period.¬† Visit the meditation page and try out the recordings of our faculty from past years.¬†Our library holds well over 1,000 recordings of guided meditations.

The Winter Feast for the Soul event takes place every January 15-February 23, and unites people in their commitment to a 40-day practice of stillness. The commitment to 40 minutes of practice each day of the Feast allows people to have a life changing experience of the importance and impact of stillness. We embrace all forms of practice that bring an individual to a period of stillness in their daily life. Whether it is winter or summer where you are in January, we hope you will join the more than 20,000 people worldwide who participate each year.

How to Participate in the Winter Feast
- Click Here to register (it’s free). If you are on our email list, you are already registered.
- Click on the “Meditations” link on the top bar, and choose “Full Index”.
- Select one of our new theme tracks, or an individual teacher or tradition you would like to try.
- Click on the Introduction or first meditation available on that page to begin.
REMEMBER to make a bookmark (or mark as “favorite”) on the Index page so you can go straight there each day for a new session. One new meditation will be released each day for 40 days. (Note: If you select a series from a prior year, the full list of meditations will show immediately. Start with the top one and move down the page in sequence each day.)
There are no rules, other than to try to do your practice once per day for each of the 40 days. You may do your daily practice at any time that is best for you. You may do more than one meditation per day, if you wish, and you may try other teachers or traditions at any time. Our goal is to help you establish the habit of doing a daily practice that is meaningful TO YOU every day. If you have any questions about the meditations or the process, contact us!

More than 1200 people participate in our Facebook group, including many of our teachers.
Novice or First Time Meditators
Mindfulness and meditation are familiar and widely discussed concepts today. If this is your first meditation experience or you aren’t really sure what is expected or what you should do, please go to our “Introduction to Meditation” page. It may help you to meditate at the same time each day. We have gathered an assortment of short, introductory sessions from some of our teachers. Listen to one or more and get familiar with some common terms and practices before you actually begin your 40-day experience.
